Challenge
Tier-1 banks needed to audit large ICT contract portfolios under DORA with tight deadlines and strict regulatory accountability.
The business problem
DORA regulation forced Tier-1 banks to audit thousands of ICT third-party contracts under tight deadlines. The exposure was enormous. Non-compliance meant nine-figure fines. The existing process was manual, slow, and fundamentally unscalable. The real challenge wasn't regulatory; it was operational: how do you turn a compliance burden into a repeatable, auditable workflow without removing the human judgment that regulators require?
My role and decisions
I led product design end-to-end on an LLM-powered compliance platform — from defining the operating model with data engineers to presenting the MVP to banking executives. No design handoff. One decision chain.
The critical design decision wasn't visual. It was architectural.
